SCOPE OF WORK

Installation Design

• Design the installation steps to assemble the MOPU (11785 T) to the gravity base
• Simulation of the positionning of the MOPU above the base
• Lowering of the legs into the sleeves

SPECIFICS

• Time domain simulations
• The tugs are modeled as independant bodies connected to the MOPU with towwing lines and anchored to the ground by mean of mooring lines
• MOPU legs are connected to the sleeves by mean of non-linear gap connectors
• Several stages are studied from approaching the sleeves to full insertion of the legs
